“Women Celebrate Paco de Lucía” in Madrid

  • As we mark 10 years since the maestro’s passing, Naike Ponce, a professional flamenco artist, has designed and is directing the musical event dedicated to the memory of the genius Paco de Lucía. The performance features some of the most representative flamenco artists of today.

    With the unwavering support of the Paco de Lucía Foundation from the very beginning, as well as the granting of rights to the Maestro’s name, Naike Ponce will present a well-deserved tribute to Paco de Lucía on February 25, 2024, at Sala Villanos in Madrid. She will be joined by a bouquet of extraordinary flamenco women, including Montse Cortés, Antonia Jiménez, Mercedes Luján, Alba Espert, Lara Wong, Nasrine Rahmani, and Belén López, among others who continue to join this special tribute.

    A feminine perspective on his love for flamenco singing, his dedication, a celebration to make us laugh, and a dance in his memory. A heartfelt nod to his most endearing side, represented by essential flamenco “Mujeres” of today and tomorrow.

    An eternal story, eternal Paco.
