The Cristina Heeren Foundation celebrates its traditional Galas del Alamillo
On Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 June, the Parque del Alamillo hosts one more year the end-of-year shows starring the students of the flamenco school.
The galas will be dedicated to the memory of Carmelilla Montoya, a teacher who was at the school who left an indelible mark on dozens of young promises of jondo art who learned from her teaching. I>
This week, the Foundation celebrates its end-of-year flamenco galas for which, for yet another year, it has chosen the El Alamillo Metropolitan Park farmhouse as the setting. The performances will take place on Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 June, starting at 8:00 p.m. and, for health reasons, the capacity is limited according to the health authorities.
As is traditional, these galas will be starred by the students of the flamenco school of the Fundación Cristina Heeren de Arte Flamenco, who will take the stage to show their skills in dancing, singing and playing after a complete course of learning and training together with the teachers who make up the faculty or have participated in training in the different theoretical and practical subjects of our academic plan.
This year, the galas will be dedicated to the memory of Carmelilla Montoya, who passed away on May 4, one of the most complete artists of her generation and a teacher who went to school leaving an indelible mark on dozens of promising young artists of jondo art. they learned from his teaching.
