XVII Young Flamenco Festival of Andalusia - El Moreno de Paymogo Memorial (07/30/2021)

  • The Paymogo City Council presents the program for the seventeenth edition of the renowned festival.

    One more year, and after the last edition was suspended due to the health situation, our emblematic Castle is preparing for two 🌙 flamenco nights where important flamenco figures will meet.

    📅 Thursday, July 29

    This year we will pay a well-deserved tribute to the flamenco dancer 𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗔 𝗛𝗢𝗬𝗢𝗦, for her great professional career and for being one of the most prominent figures in flamenco.
    As a prelude to the tribute, we will have the performance of our countrywoman 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼́𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼́𝗻, who makes its debut in our renowned festival after having achieved different recognitions, such as the first prize in the National Flamenco Singing Contest "Ciudad de Carmona".

    For the second consecutive edition, we will have the distinctive "José Manuel Canelo", a recognition that will be given to one of the young people who will accompany us on Friday night.
