The Junta de Andalucía awards the ANDALUCÍA YOUNG AWARD 2022 in the Art and Culture category to the flamenco guitarist Alba Espert Ruiz

The Ministry of Social Inclusion, Youth, Families and Equality has announced today, on the occasion of International Youth Day, the Andalucía Joven awards granted by the Andalusian Youth Institute (IAJ) to groups, entities and people from the Community Autonomous representative of the 8 Andalusian provinces.

These are honorary awards, which recognize the work, dedication, personal involvement and commitment to the development of the Youth of Andalusia.

Alba Espert selected by the Society of Performing Artists (AIE) for the AIEnRUTa-Flamencos Tour 2022.

AIEnRUTa–Flamencos is a program organized by the Sociedad de Artistas Intérpretes o Execuantes (AIE), the entity that manages the intellectual property rights of artists and performers, with the collaboration of various Universities (Universidad Complutense de Madrid, University of Castilla-La Mancha, University of León, University of Alcalá de Henares, University of Valladolid or the Lázaro Galdiano Foundation).

This program, which reaches its 13th edition, is designed to publicize and promote young artists of the flamenco genre within the University. Its objectives are to support artists to disseminate their proposals and expand the dissemination of the flamenco genre through programming in new spaces for concerts or recitals held in cities such as Madrid, León, Talavera de la Reina, Alcalá de Henares, Valladolid, Segovia or Palencia.

Friends, last night at the I Flamenco Guitar Competition "Miguel Borrull" in Barcelona I was able to win the Special Audience Award, consisting of a Flamenco Guitar by the builder Juan Montes, playing a Rondeña by Manolo Sanlúcar and a Soleá by Pedro Sierra.

"José Manuel Canelo" Distinction from the City Council of Paymogo (Huelva) for Alba Espert

The "José Manuel Canelo" distinction from the Paymogo City Council (Huelva) in 2021 edition has granted to Alba Espert for his dedication to the study and investigation of Flamenco, encouraging her to promote it, not only through studies but by being part of it with the play of her guitar.
